On the northern side of the town. It was designed by Paul Mauger and Partners and finished in 1956.

      Hi Ian

      I don’t know, according to the 20th-century society the church is closed and may have been demolished but I think that may be a stock phrase.

      I have not visited the site since May 2015. I checked Hertsmere council’s planning website and I cannot see any application for the site in the last 5 years.

      The latest Google Streetview is March 2018 and it looks much the same as my pictures then

      I can find no reference to the church being open, so I guess it is closed
