A small hall built in 1924, in a turning just off the St Albans Road.

Church of the Nazarene, The Brow, Woodside, Watford
A community complex in the Woodside estate. The worship area is one corner of the building but can be opened out into the hall area, it dates from 1986 and replaced an area behind it, now used as a small hall.

Goldings Chapel (former), near Waterford
The chapel of Goldings (a house by William Devey 1870) which is a now a private house. The chapel dates from 1923 and was designed by Walter Godfrey of Wratten and Godfrey. It was built when the house became Barnado’s William Baker Technical School. In 1969 Herts County Council moved into the house and the chapel became a sports hall. The council moved out in 1999 and the chapel became part of a development of new housing around the house. In 2009 it was sold for £3.4 million. It can be seen from two public footpaths but it is not a good view.

Welwyn Garden City United Reformed Church, Church Road
Called Welwyn Garden City Free Church until its 2014 amalgamation with the Woodhall Lane URC church. It is right in the town centre by Sainsbury’s. It was built in 1928-1929 and designed by Louis de Soissons, the city architect.

Christ Church Baptist, Broadwater Road, Welwyn Garden City
A short way south-west of the town centre. The original church of 1939 is now part of a complex of rooms.

Friends Meeting House, Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City
Just west of the town centre. The top two pictures show it undergoing refurbishment in Feb 2015. The others are from Dec 2016.
