In the older part of Ware Cemetery which is bisected by Westmill Road on the outskirts of Ware. The two chapels joined at right angles for Anglican and Dissenters are by Thomas Smith and date from 1854-55. After disuse they were converted to housing around 2004.

Hanbury Manor Hotel is a country house hotel between Ware and Thundridge. It was built as by Ernest George and Peto in 1890-91, but became a convent school in 1923 for which a chapel was added in 1934. The school closed in 1986 and became a luxury hotel in 1990. The chapel is now a function room called Poles Hall.

Just east of the crossroads at the southern end of the village. It dates from 1869 and is now housing called Grace Lodge.

Almost at the end of a dead end lane in this hamlet between Colney Heath and Smallford. Built in 1840 it became disused in the 2000s and was converted into housing in 2013.
