Methodist Church, Abbots Langley

Right in the middle of the village. The building dates from 1882, although there had been Methodist meetings since 1878, and was then clearly gothic, however in 1962 its layout was reversed and the exterior appearance simplified and rendered.

About a mile from the village centre stands this church of 1959.

Baptist Chapel (Former), Primrose Hill, Kings Langley

Replaced by the 1930s chapel near the village centre. This building dates from 1875, and has been converted for commercial use.

Waterside Baptist (formerly Zion Baptist), Waterside, Kings Langley

A Grace Baptist church whose building dates from 1835 with changes made in 1905-07 and 1936. The lower pictures reflect its recent change of name.

Christ Church Baptist, The Nap, Kings Langley

On a side turning off the main street. The church dates from 1938-39 with later halls attached. It replaced an older chapel, still there,  on Primrose Hill.

An independent chapel just off the main London road in Apsley, Built as Salem Strict Baptist chapel in 1818.

New Life Pentecostal Church (AOG), Lawn Lane, Hemel Hempstead

A small building in the south-east of the town. It was built as Bethel Full Gospel Church in 1952.
