Away from the village centre in this rather remote north east Herts village. There are a large number of medieval benches in the church.

A spread out village east of Baldock. The tower is supported by very large buttresses added in the 17th century. The church is mainly 14th century with a Ewan Christian restoration. Some interesting benches, pulpit and Easter Sepulchre.

In the north of the town on a large estate. It dates from 1957 and was designed by Sterret and Blouet.

Just east of the town centre, a distinctive building with its two green “ears” at the entrance end. It dates from 1961-62 and is by F.X.Verlade and Partners. Next door is a hall by T.H.B. Scott that was used as a church prior to the completion of the current church.

A thorough rebuilding of 1853 by P.C Hardwick, nothing from the old church is visible outside. It sits on top of a hill so the spire is visible from miles around.

The town centre church of Borehamwood. It dates from 1910 and was designed by Francis & Minty. The apse glass is by George Walton and dates from 1923.

A typical 1930s style brick basilica. It was built in 1930-31 and designed by T.H.B. Scott.

Down a dead end un-surfaced road, it is dated 1896 but looks more like a hall than a church, which is exactly what it was as it was built as a hall for the Anglican parish church and only acquired by the Roman Catholic church in 1998.
