Built in 1895 and in use until the 1960s when it was replaced by what is now the United Reformed Church. It is now Universal Lawnmowers.

Two 1960s buildings at right angles to each other, the current hall was the church and the current church was added as a hall. It replaced the old Congregational Church which is now a lawn mower shop.

On a turning off Akeman Street near the Natural History Museum and now used as a Yoga Centre.

A nineteenth century chapel that was converted to commercial premises. It was convertedf after several planning applications to two resential units in the early 21st century.

Along the main street not far from the parish church. It was opened in 1900, replacing an older nearby chapel. It was designed by William Huckvale.

Built in 1909 and in use until 1967 when it was replaced by the current church on the other side of the town centre. It is now used as offices.

On a road off the High Street near the Baptist Church. Used only from 1854-56, it has long been converted into a pair of semi-detached houses.

Built in 1845 and out of use in 1960 when the congregation moved to The Methodist chapel in Flamstead. It was converted to a house and only bears a passing resemblance to its former role. The plaque’s date on the gable of the house does not agree with any dates given in the link below

Build for Particular Baptists in 1859. The local list shows it in a poor state and used as a motor store in 2011. It is now a house down a private lane off Standhill Road. It can just be seen from Standhill Road or by climbing the rough steps up to its entrance front on Hitchin Hill.
