The tower dates from 1630, but the church itself consists of aisles of 1825 by W. Atkinson between which Arthur Blomfield added a new nave and chancel in 1890-91. The east window is a large Burne-Jones crucifixion by Morris and Co. It is shared with the Methodists under a Local Ecumenical Partnership.

Designed by Joseph Clarke and built in 1859. The east and west ends were extended by Arthur Blomfield in the late 19th century. The interior was re-ordered in the early 21st century when the nave flooring and lower walls were badly affected by damp.

Just north of the A414 near Harlow, Essex and just in Hertfordshire, this church is mainly a rebuilding by Arthur Blomfield (1872-3), only the tower and chancel arch remaining from the old building. The main treasure is a 13th century effigy under the tower.

Just outside Buntingford. The church overlooks fields at the western end of the village on a dead end road. Restored in 1873 by Sir Arthur Blomfield. A south-east chapel contains box pews, and a large monument including coloured brasses which is, unfortunately, used for storage. The Morris glass illustrated first is in the unlocked porch.

Just outside Watford but still wholly rural. A large church with a little Norman work, but the chancel is 13th century, the nave and south aisle are 14th century, the north aisle from the 15th. The chancel chapel contains a fine pair of medieval tombs. There have been many restorations starting with John Shaw in 1813-14, Sir Charles Barry in 1840, T. Talbot Bury in 1852 and a large one by A.W. Blomfield in 1881-82. WW2 bombing caused damage that was restored by 1958.
