In a north eastern suburb of Hemel Hempstead it is the second UK church belonging to the Malankara Orthodox Church. It was constructed in place of a Methodist church built in 1936 but declared redundant in 2005. Building began in 2011-2012 and it was consecrated in 2012.

A village that has become annexed to the south end of the town. The church sits high above the Watford road, it was designed by Joseph Clarke and dates from 1871. The south elevation clearly shows how the church , as planned, has never been completed. The east window is by Frederick Preedy.

A small church behind the shopping centre at Grovehill in the north of the town. It is shared between Anglicans, Baptists, the United Reformed Church and Roman Catholics. There is a separate lady chapel, both it and the church are in a block with the community centre. It dates from 1977 and was designed by Melvin Lansley and Mark Architects with Dennis Brook as project architect..

Tucked away behind the shops in Queen’s square the earliest district centre in the new town. It dates from 1952, with a new entrance area added in 2005 when the interior was reordered following an accidental fire.

Attractively sited at one end of Boxmoor Common , just south west of the new town centre. It is a church of 1868-74 by R. Norman Shaw, with a western extension by T.F. Woodman of 1893. The Dalle de Verre window is by Joseph Nuttgens and dates from 1972. The brass is a 20th century memorial in a medieval style.
