Baptist Church, Barnet Road, Potters Bar
There are three main buildings here. The current church opened in 1964, the older church dating from 1868, designed by W. Allen Dixon, and at right angles to the rear of the old church another building (Sunday school?) of 1888. All are connected by various ancillary rooms, the older buildings now being used as halls The modern church has a conservatory type frontage added to provide a refreshment/circulation area.

A typical anonymous looking Brethren Hall. Right next to the Evangelical Free Church.

Almost the last building out of Potters Bar towards Northaw. This independent church is associated with Cuffley Free Church.

United Reformed Church, Darkes Lane, Potters Bar
A short walk north of the railway station, this is a church and hall of 1965 by The Haines Design Partnership.
St John’s Methodist Church, Baker St, Potters Bar
A short way south of the town centre a large hall and church complex. The church dates from 1940 with additions of 2005. The chancel stained glass by Goddard & Gibbs was installed in 1972.

Christchurch, Little Heath
A small aisleless church of 1893 by W. Howard Seth Smith, at the northern tip of Potters Bar, though unlike the rest of the town Little Heath was always part of Hertfordshire being in North Mymms parish. The south side of the church has been partially opened up into recent parish rooms and offices.

Our Lady and Saint Vincent, Potters Bar (Roman catholic)
Designed by Francis Weal and Partners and built in 2003-05 to replace two earlier churches in the town. The glass is by Alex Le Rossignol.

King Charles the Martyr, Potters Bar
Formerly in South Mimms parish. The church was built in 1939-41 and designed by Eden and Marchant.

St Mary the Virgin and All Saints, Potters Bar
Just off the old main street of the town. The church is by J.S.Alder (1914) but the west end was completed by Laurence King in 1967.
