Close to St George’s church west of the town centre. It was built in 1959.

Built in 1907 as a house with a large meeting room by Robert Bennett and Wilson Bidwell. After construction it was transferred to the Society of Friends.

On the northern edge of the town centre. The building is raised above the burial ground. It was designed by Paul Mauger and built in 1958.

West of the town centre is this Meeting House of 1829. It has not been used for meetings since 2011 and there is currently (late 2018) a project to find alternative community based uses for the building.

In a small garden at the western end of the High Street. The Meeting dates from 1818 with a large porch added in recent times.

In the old town. The oldest part of the building dates from 1718, but this is hidden behind extensions of 1959 and 1976.

A timber framed building of around 1750, long in non Quaker use. The last two pictures are from June 2015 after the completion of building work.

This is the oldest purpose built Quaker Meeting House in continuous use in the world, dating from 1670. An internal steel framework was inserted in 1981 to strengthen the building.
