Evangelical Congregational Church, London Road, Sawbridgeworth
Alongside the main road to Harlow, just south of the town centre. The church opened in 1863 to designs by Poulton and Woodman, the northern extensions date from 1911.

Great St Mary, Sawbridgeworth
In a large churchyard between the small town centre and the railway station. A mainly 14th century church with restorations of 1845, 1849 and 1856-59 by G.E.Pritchett.

Originally a cinema of 1914 that closed in 1953. The first mass after conversion to a church was said in 1956, it was renovated in 1968 when the front elevation was much simplified.
