A prominent building at The T junction at the eastern end of the village. It was built as a Grammar School around 1636 but was also used for church services during the 17th century. It is now in domestic use.

Some way out of the village, this church is now cared for by the Churches Conservation trust. The porch is 15th century, the north chapel was added in 1577. It features an unrestored interior with box pews and a three decker pulpit.

High above the road at the north-west end of the village. designed by Zephaniah King in 1880-1881, The east window glass dates from 2007 and is designed by Petri Anderson.
