Just up the road from Christ Church, this is a Congregational Church building of 1896-97 that replaced the Independent Chapel in Amenbury Road on the other side of the town centre. The architect was Arthur Anscombe.

A short way off the High Street stand this originally Methodist church of 1937-38. It became a united church in 1980 when the United Reformed Church congregation left their church on Watling Street. That building is now the Radlett Reform Synagogue.

Originally a Presbyterian church, it was designed by Sebastian Comper and built 1956-57.

On the corner of St. Albans Road and Leverstock Green Road. The church dated from 1953 but was demolished in 2019. A new church centre is being built on Maylands Avenue due to open in Autumn 2019.

Called Welwyn Garden City Free Church until its 2014 amalgamation with the Woodhall Lane URC church. It is right in the town centre by Sainsbury’s. It was built in 1928-1929 and designed by Louis de Soissons, the city architect.

Behind the Roman Catholic Our Lady, Queen of Apostles near Woodhall shops. It closed in 2014 when its congregation joined that of the Free Church in the town centre.

East of the town centre, it was built as the Congregational Church in 1954.

Built in 1852 as the Congregational Church, replacing an earlier building destroyed by fire in 1850. There was an interior refurbishment in 1906 by George Baines.
