Sacred Heart of Jesus and St Joseph, Ware (Roman Catholic)
St Mary the Virgin, Ware
Sideways on to the main street at the west end of this east Hertfordshire town. Large and mainly 14th and 15th century but much restored by George Godwin in 1852. The organ has received a major refurbishment in 2016 and the old brass coloured pipes are shown alongside the new silver coloured ones replacing them. There are a huge selection of corbels and carved headstops of which only a few are shown here.

Christ Church, Ware
Just north of the town centre, designed by N.E. Stevens 1858-59. The church was re-ordered in 2019, re-opening in November that year. The previous state is shown in the left-hand column, the current layout (Feb 2020) in the right, after the unchanged exterior views. The pulpit and choir stalls are gone, the font remains under the tower. At the bottom are a few more shots of the altered interior.
