St Bartholomew, Wigginton
On a hilltop south of Tring. heavily restored in 1881 and a north aisle added by R.J. Withers. There is a curious western chamber at a higher level to the church. There is a recent window by Tom Denney by the pulpit.
St John the Baptist, Great Amwell
One of three churches in Hertfordshire with a norman apse. The nave is also from this time, the tower 15th century. Restoration was by R.J. Withers in 1858. The churchyard is high above the New River.
